This was my first perfume ever, when I was 16 I got this as a gift. Ever since, I have used several like DKNY Be Delicious, Gucci Envy Me, Calvin Klein Obsession, Philosophy Eternal Grace and lately back to my first love - Dior, but a different one. And several more in between. So, I decided why not create a mini memoir of all those delicious aromas as a reference and a guide.
Eau de Dolce Vita by Christian Dior
Its a very summery and spring perfume, not sweet or powdery at all. Very soft, elegant and certainly delicate. It was refreshing to use it and I did purchase it again. The vanilla notes are not too harsh. What I liked about it the unusual mix of the floral from the top note and the sandalwood and freesia from the base. Its been a bit difficult lately to find it at the duty free, if you do come across I recommend a go at it. You are bound to love it.
